based on the logo design of mazzika, we designed a wordmark that spells out medussar. we filled the inside of the letters with red enamel to match the original font as closely as possible. the leather belt is switchable, so if medussar decides that the black belt we custom made for her fits better with her outfit, she can easily swap it.

anyone who’s ever experienced the berlin-based dj live knows about her unique sensitivity for creating cross-cultural soundscapes. the sets of medussar are shaped by her arab heritage and offer an exciting mix of dancehall, trap, grime, jungle and jersey. she often blends in arabic sounds, which feels like a warm invitation - or even a little journey to her homeland for the audience.

when she’s not giving her heritage a stage through sound, she expresses it through her fashion label elissarrr. her pieces often feature self-shot analog photographs, with motifs drawn from her documentary work “heimweh” [homesickness]. the photographs document her journey back to her homeland lebanon and serve as a kind of memory archive of her roots.

in addition, she actively supports the fight for a free palestine and has organized events whose proceeds were donated to support the palestinian people.
